PapierMache

Thin strips
watery,
pasted over
to hide the color.
Blue.
Time taken out of the day.
Waking up early
to apply
thin strips.
Thin strips
watery
applied to canisters of hot air
to give shape.
Wait
wait
wait
to dry.
I try not to break my thin promises
I try not to hide my color
